Waste-derived biofuels

Gazasia, alongside DHL, Puma and Air Asia Zest, is a proud sponsor of the 2014 Sama-Sama Football Games, to be held from 8–11 May in Boracay, Aklan, Philippines. The Games, organised by FundLife, is a celebration of unity and dignity for young people from polarised worlds, through the universal language of Sport.
"We are extremely excited to work with values-driven partners, such as Gazasia, whose core business objective of improving air quality is symbiotic to the Sama-Sama Games’ mission of fostering equal access to opportunity for all young people," said Marko Kasic, organiser of Sama-Sama Games.
Now in its fourth year, the Sama-Sama (Tagalog for “Together”) Games’ invites 160 players from across the socio-economic pyramid, including 10 Typhoon Haiyan Survivor players, to play alongside each other with a chance to form long lasting connections with their peers. “We look forward to supporting the Games’ growth and contributing directly to the empowerment of people through our technology and community-driven social projects,” said Richard Lilleystone, Gazasia’s Chief Executive Officer.
Gazasia is an alternative fuels company offering waste-to-fuel green transport solutions. On 18 March, Gazasia took part in a tree planting ceremony at the first bio-methane digestion plant in the Philippines to be constructed by Aseagas Corporation, Aboitiz Equity Ventures. The plant in Lian Batangas will produce biogas from organic waste to be utilised as a clean, renewable, carbon neutral, road transport fuel.
By replacing diesel with bio-methane, Gazasia is playing an important role in reducing air pollution and improving public health. The use of organic waste to produce bio-methane will reduce society’s reliance on fossil fuels for transportation, help to preserve natural resources, and reduce the environmental impacts associated with producing and burning fossil fuels.
We look forward to supporting the Games' growth and contributing directly to the empowerment of people through our technology and community-driven social projects.
